The Toolbar allows the user to select desired actions or program functions from various screens. As you progress through the IDSS program, the active Toolbar buttons will change.
The Toolbar buttons that are used throughout the program are as follows:
HOME Return to the main screen |

SERVICE INFORMATION View Service Information for the engine selected |

DIAGNOSTICS View scan tool data for the engine selected |
|
|
PROGRAMMING ECM Part Number search and update |
|

UTILITY FUNCTIONS View Saved Snapshot / Freeze Frame Failure Record and other function information |

|
TABLE OF CONTENTS Minimize or restore the TOC view. The icon on the toolbar and the arrows on the vertical split bar perform the same functions to close and open the TOC |

Prints the screen you are currently viewing |

STATUS These icons indicate your connection status. The icons will change color from Gray to Yellow when connections are established |

HELP Opens the IDSS Help File and IDSS Version Information |

|
EXIT Exits the application |

PREVIOUS - NEXT Provides navigation within the service information displayed. The buttons become green and bold if available |
|
|
ENHANCED DIAGNOSTICS The Enhanced Diagnostics functions allow you to view "live" values of selected parameters. This function may not be available on all screens |
